Well, I suppose that the first post should describe exactly what it is I am doing.
My name is Amber. I am an eighteen year old student attending university. I have a lot of spare time on my hands.
Today, March 14, 2009, marks the start of what I guess I have called Star Trek Year. It is the challenge made to me by my friend Kyle of whether or not I could watch all of the episodes of Star Trek and the movies in a single year. The challenge ends at midnight on March 14, 2010. Why am I doing this? That is a good question. Basically, I like a challenge and really have nothing better to do with my time. Also, if I win, Kyle owes me a hundred dollars. Is a year of my life worth a hundred dollars? Apparently.
I will be posting (hopefully) every day about what I have watched, through both written posts and videos. My aim is to have fun with this, as I am not convinced at this time that I am going to enjoy the next year of my life.
I should probably mention that I have never watched an entire episode of Star Trek in my life. I guess that is about to change.

Please do it. Star Trek is so ridiculous, like, super fucking ridiculous, I actually love it. Voyager is my favorite. And TNG. The rest is kind of shitty but w/e you'll get over it. I would watch them with you if I could.
